Wear Red for Racism – Friday 16th October

2026 is the 12th Anniversary of Wear Red Day.

Liverpool City Council is encouraging all schools, colleges and workplaces to take part in Wear Red Day 2026 on October 16th 2026 and help Show Racism the Red Card with their fundraising drive. Show Racism the Red Card is a charity that works alongside football clubs to tackle racial discrimination in the game and deliver anti-racist education programmes to young people.

Wear Red Day is a national event where people wear red to demonstrate their support for anti-racism, challenge discrimination, and raise funds for educational work tackling racism.

On Friday 16th October, we are taking part in Wear Red Day to show our commitment to standing against racism and promoting inclusion, respect, and equality for everyone. By wearing something red, we can demonstrate our support for creating a community where everyone feels valued, welcomed, and able to thrive.
We would like all pupils and staff to wear red on the day and take the opportunity to reflect on how we can challenge discrimination and celebrate the diversity that makes our school stronger!
Together, we can make a positive difference.   Please click the link below if you would like to donate.  Thank you.

Wear red. Stand up to racism. Be part of the change.
