Message from School Health – Nasal Flu Vaccination Consent
Dear Parent/Carer.
It’s not too late. Today is your final day to let us know your wishes with regards to your child receiving or not receiving their recommended nasal flu spray or injectable flu immunisation at school.
Many thanks to parents/carer who have already completed your childs form.
If you haven’t yet we really would appreciate your help with completing their form today to ensure we know your wishes and ensure we are using our NHS services efficiently. Last year nearly 60% of parents didn’t complete their childs forms before the deadline date resulting in them receiving further follow up calls, letters and texts from the service which we know can be annoying. To avoid this happening please complete their flu form today with a YES or NO at this link https://econsent.merseycare.nhs.uk/
It’s important to remember Flu can be a really unpleasant illness and sometimes causes serious complications. Vaccinating your child will help to protect them as well as more vulnerable family and friends by preventing the spread of flu this year.
