Macmillan Biggest Ever Coffee Morning!
On Friday 29th September, St Paschal Baylon hosted a Macmillan ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Ever’. We were overwhelmed by the generous donations and support from our families. Lots of wonderful cakes were enjoyed by parents and grandparents during the morning, while having a coffee and a chat! Afterwards children were able to choose a cake and sit and chat to their friends.
A big well done to Gaby Quayle, Frankie Ness, Ava Hanlon and Alexander Georgiou from Year 4 for organising a raffle (all by themselves!) to raise further funds for Macmillan. The children sold raffle tickets to children and staff in school and also to families who attended our Coffee Morning, conducting themselves beautifully and showing excellent manners. The winners were announced during Friday’s assembly.
We managed to raise just over £750 in total! Thank you once again for your generosity.
