Red Nose Day – Friday 18th March 2022

On Friday 18th March, SPB will be celebrating Red Nose Day. Children are invited to wear red or their own clothes on this day and can make a voluntary donation of £1 to the cause. Red Noses will be on sale later this week for those who wish to buy one and cost £1.50. On Friday, children will be taking part in some fun activities such as ‘Nose and Spoon Races’ (Article 31) and will be learning about a nine-year-old boy called Teddy who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a visual impairment. Comic Relief fund projects such as North East Sight Matters who help children like Teddy try new things such as music and drama, gain confidence and make new friends. Not only does the donated money help projects like these, but it can also help to provide support to a young person in the UK through a mental health helpline or online chat, reading books for children in Uganda (Article 28), mobility aids for young disabled people in Malawi (Article 23) and meals for children and families most in need in the UK (Article 24).

Thank you in advance for your support of this worthy cause.
