Liverpool Archdiocese Awards 2019

In March this year, our school received notification that we were one of the three shortlisted schools in two award categories in the Archdiocese Awards.

The categories were “School of the Year” and Sporting Achievement”.

We were obviously delighted to receive this news as recognition of the many wonderful achievements and contributions throughout the year by our children, staff, parents and governors.

The week before we finished for half term a selection of staff and governors attended the Archdiocesan Awards at the Royal Liver Building.  It was wonderful to see many schools, both primary and secondary, from across the Archdiocese represented.

We were delighted to be awarded winners of the “Sporting Achievement” award and the trophy was proudly shared with all our children in Assembly.  This was made even more special considering that 179 children have represented our school in a sporting capacity over the last year, with many of these children competing for the first time.

We were also extremely proud to be one of the three shortlisted schools for “School of the Year” within an Archdiocese that has 238 schools.

Congratulations to all our wonderful children, staff, parents and governors.  You should all be very proud of yourselves.
