UNICEF – Soccer Aid Playground Challenge

On Friday 8th June 2018 SPB hosted our first Soccer Aid for UNICEF Playground Challenge.  The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part!

This challenge encourage pupils to kick, bounce and carry a ball around an obstacle course.

Our school’s aim was to raise £322 for a water pump for a village or school.  Each child was asked to donate £1 and the government have agreed to match every £1 raised.

By taking part we can help UNICEF provide clean, safe water for a community which, as we know at SPB, is Article 24 in the Convention of the Rights of the Child – a right that every child should access!

Article 24 – Every child has the right to good quality healthcare, clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment

A huge thank you to all who donated! Please click here to read the letter that SPB received to say thank you.
