Red Nose Day
On 24th March, we took part in lots of activities, wore red noses and dressed in red and blue to support ‘Comic Relief’ and ‘World Water Day’. The two charities joined forces for a whole school assembly to highlight the importance of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child: Article 24 states that “Every child has the right to the best possible health care and clean water,” Article 28 states that “Every child has the right to an education.” However, the assembly highlighted how millions of children around the world have these rights denied. The money we have raised today will be given to Comic Relief and Water Aid charities to hopefully help more children around the world access their rights.
Thank you for all your contributions and to our brilliant junior performers who have delivered a clear message in the assembly. A great day had by all!
